The Russian School in Edinburgh!

Russian Edinburgh Education and Support Centre is an initiative of the Russian speaking parents in Scotland.

The Russian Edinburgh School now includes over 70 pupils and offers:

• Seven classes for Russian or English speaking children aged 2-15 conducted by qualified teachers.
• Subjects taught:
• Russian
• Russian as a foreign language
• Reading
• Russian literature
• History of Russian speaking peoples
• Drama
• Art
• Russian singing
• Preparation to National assessment in Russian: Scottish Standard grade/Higher/A-level
• Consultations of qualified Russian speech therapist (10:30-11 am)
• Russian as foreign language for adult learners: beginners and intermediate groups
• Events: Russian poetry and seasonal festivals, New Year, Easter and Maslenitsa celebrations, Russian sightseeing excursions (see more in our News)
  
• Library of Russian books and films for children and parents
• A place to meet other parents

The meetings and classes are at  Drummond Community High School (41 Bellevue Place, Edinburgh, EH7 4BS) during Edinburgh school term dates.
