Term dates 2012/2013

Term 1

There are 13 sessions before the winter holidays:

September - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

October - 6, 27 (school holidays - 13 and 20)

November - 3, 10, 17, 24

December - 1, 8

The Christmas party is on 16 December.

Term 2 - 10 sessions

January - 12, 19, 26

February - 2, 9, 23

March - 2, 9, 16, 23

Term 3 - 10 sessions

April - 20, 27

May - 4, 11, 18, 25

June - 1, 8, 15, 22

Term 1 fees

Payment for the whole term is accepted by bank transfer

In the payment description indicate the name and the surname of a student, if children have different surnames indicate both (f.e. Sasha Ivanov /Masha Stevens).

There are various payment options : Internet - banking, payment at your local branch, or any Bank of Scotland branch (the nearest Bank of Scotland branch is at 75 George Street, EH2 3EW, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-3pm). All bank transfers are free. If you make a payment at a bank branch please retain payment confirmation slip.

Please make the payment by the 15th of September 2012


The following discounts are available (only one can be applied at any time):

- 20% for the 2nd and 3rd child;

- 50% for children from low income families. Please send an application form to the Administrator by 10 September;

- 50% for children of Russian Edinburgh teachers

Please note that due to the limited number of school classrooms and other resources allocated to the Russian school, the number of pupils we can accept is limited. We will have to introduce a waiting list if a class exceeds a certain number of children. Please ensure your child's place by paying promptly.

Timetable

Lessons in most groups will be held from 10:00 to 12:45. The timetable is going to be published on our website by 1st of September.

Snacks

Please ensure that your child has a breakfast before arrival to Russian School. If necessary please provide your child with a drink and a snack (nuts and food containing nuts are prohibited).

The Russian Edinburgh School constantly requires enthusiastic and energetic people able to devote their time to the benefit of the school. Please let us know if you are willing to participate in individual projects such as, for example, the organisation of interesting meetings, educational tours, the Christmas party, and/or as an assistant librarian, curator, a representative on the Committee etc. With your help we can do more good and beneficial things for our children!
