Russian Edinburgh Educational and Support Centre is an initiative of Russian-speaking parents in Scotland. It was established in 2004. Today we offer:

  • Lessons in Russian with qualified teachers for children aged 3-14 and adults (subjects taught: Russian, Russian literature, Art)
  • Eleven classes for children depending on their level of Russian and one class for adults
  • Consultations of qualified Russian speech therapist
  • Social and cultural events: Christmas party, traditional celebrations, sightseeing excursions with Russian-speaking guide
  • Library of Russian books and films for children and parents

Russian Edinburgh is a recognised Scottish Charity since October 2004 (Scottish Charity Number SC036049). The meetings and classes are at Drummond Community High School (41 Bellevue Place, Edinburgh, EH7 4BS) on Saturday: 09:45am - 13:45pm (see Timetable) during Edinburgh school term dates.
