Russian Edinburgh Library  are re-opening with the reorganised and widely enriched collection of Russian children books and films.

The assembly dedicated to re-opening of the Russian Edinburgh library on 28th November, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Drummond Community High school (41 Bellevue Place, Edinburgh, EH7 4BS).

At present it is the largest collection of Russian children books in Scotland with over 600 volumes available for public.

Our library includes over 600 volumes of children and youth books in Russian, which makes it the largest collection in Edinburgh. The library funds are arranged in an electronic web Book catalogue (in Russian). The library repository is located at the Drummond Community School and is accessible during the Russian school Saturday classes times. The library is available for all Russian Edinburgh members.

Our library has been created as a collection of donations from the parents and sponsors (Samovar Publishing House) , and also learning materials purchased by Russian Edinburgh.
We are also thankful for the kind help of the Russian Federation Consulate General in Edinburgh for their prompt and  kind help in transporting the books to Edinburgh from Moscow.

The library have been refurbished thanks to the continuous effort of Russian Edinburgh volunteers who worked hard to create a new improved look of the library to boost its efficient access and use.
