Russian Edinburgh can operate only from membership fees & donations. Membership fees are paid 3 times a year before the beginning of the term.
We are introducing a new payment system starting from December 2011.
The bank transfers should be made to the following account:

Account name: RUSSIAN EDINBURGH Sort code: 80-02-34 Account number: 06002284.

In the payment description indicate the name and the surname of a student, if children have different surnames indicate both (f.e. Sasha Ivanov /Masha Stevens).

There are various payment options : internet - banking, payment at your local branch, or any Bank of Scotland branch (the nearest Bank of Scotland branch is at 75 George Street, EH2 3EW, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-3pm). All bank transfers are free. If you make a payment at a bank branch please retain payment cofirmation slip.

Payment for the 2nd Term 2011/2012 should be made by 31/12/11

If the payment doesn’t reach Russian Edinburgh Account before the 1st term day (14/01/12) the teacher will notify the student or parents.

If after such a reminder the payment doesn’t reach Russian Edinburgh Account by 20/01/11 the student won’t be allowed to attend classes. He/ she will be allowed to continue classes after the payment is received, on the condition that spaces are still available.

New pre-school group for 0-2 year old starts on 29th of October 2011 at Russian School. Playing in Russian lessons will take place every Saturday from 10:45 until 11:30.

Please register your interest as soon as possible with Administrator during school hours or by e-mail mail@russianedinburgh.org.uk. Places are limited.

New pre-school group for 2-3.5 year old start on 24th of September 2011 at Russian School. Playing in Russian lessons will take place every Saturday (except 15 and 22 October) from 10:00 until 11:00. Fees £30 per term (until 10th of December).

The following discounts are available (only one can be applied at any time):

- 20% for the 2nd and 3rd child;

- 50% for children from low income families. Please send an application form to the Administrator by 10 September;

- 50% for children of Russian Edinburgh teachers

Please note that due to the limited number of school classrooms and other resources allocated to the Russian school, the number of pupils we can accept is limited. We will have to introduce a waiting list if a class exceeds a certain number of children. Please ensure your child's place by paying promptly.

Dance classes for the parents and everybody interested

Everyone of any age and any dancing experiences is invited to the historical dance classes!

The programme covers the large number of early dances from XVI to XIX centuries, including those used at the historical balls regularly held in Great Britain nowadays. There are no age limits; you can join the class with or without any dancing experience; eventually you will be able to participate in a real ball. Historical dances are merry, graceful, and very beautiful!

Dress: comfortable, ladies should have wide skirts. Footwear: gym shoes or simply comfortable shoes.

Where: classes are held on Saturdays from 13.15 to 14.45 in the Community Lounge of the Drummond Community High School, Edinburgh.

The class fee is approximately £2.5.
